Fruit Tour at the sweetest Market on Earth
We'll meet at the "sweetest market on earth" Paloquemao Market. From there we'll start tasting different fruits, all while tracing their indigenous and colonial origins. Depending on which fruits are in season, we will taste around 25 different varieties. In addition, we will walk the market’s venues which includes the outdoor floral area. Finally, there will be a fruit juice tasting that goes along with a traditional snack, the arepa. The ideal geographic position that Colombia occupies due to its proximity to the equator and with the Andes stretching across the country, creates the perfect conditions for fruits to develop unique flavors.

Next step is tamal from the south of Colombia, one of the most representative ones. If you are still hungry, not worries, we will have more restaurants to visit! 7 in total. Nuestro tour dura entre 4 a 5 horas e incluye parte del centro histórico y de las localidades Santa Fe, Teusaquillo y Los Mártires. Durante el tour vemos arte urbano, visitamos el Parque Nacional, una tostadora de café, probamos frutas en un mercado tradicional, pasamos por el Museo Nacional y la Plaza de Toros, donde a veces entramos. Recorremos alrededor de 13 kilómetros. La ruta es mayormente plana. Es un tour relajado, con varias paradas para exponer temas históricos, urbanísticos, culturales y políticos. Al finalizar el tour, incluimos el juego nacional de Colombia Tejo, es una sorpresa para todos. Bogota has different faces and this a really interesting one you dont want to miss. First of all, we take the Transmilenio (BRT System) direction to Tunal Station and reach the Cable Care used by 700.000 locals everyday as their main transportation system. We will go to the last station Paraiso, and walk around in a deteriorated urban district by the violence and poorness in the past, trying to improve its habitants and surroundings through the education, urban renovation, sports and art equipments. After visiting Paraiso district, seeing and spectacular view of Bogota and having a look to te different Graffiti scene, we will eat delicious traditional local food. By doing this tour, part of the money is to support the graffiti colective in the neighborhood! Hi! We are a group of local friends that host bar crawls in Bogotá every Friday & Saturday night. We wanted to give foreigners and tourists a unique "locals' experience", so we started these bar crawls. Each of our bar crawls consists of 3 bars and 1 club, all located in the Chapinero neighborhood in Bogotá. Chapinero is one of the most popular nightlife areas, especially among university students and young adults, in Bogotá. We will meet for 2 hours at the first bar at 7:30 pm to congregate and converse, and then we will proceed to the next 2 bars every hour, finally finishing off at the club by 12:30 am. Normally, locals also come on our crawls, so you will have the opportunity to connect with some Colombians and practice your Spanish! Our bar crawls consist of different bars on different nights. Soak in magical hot springs w/lunch, coffee & drinks
Soak in a magical hot spring oasis that transports you to the feeling of being in the Amazon, but only 1.5 hours from Bogotá. You’ll get to spend the day soaking in natural hot springs, take fabulous photos, explore the tropical fauna, lily pond, and disconnect from everything. The experience includes exclusive access to a property not open to the public, round trip transportation (bus used when less than 4 people w/option for private), towels, a fruit platter with coffee, lunch, and a welcome drink. Natural hot springs are often praised for their health benefits such as blood circulation, stress reduction, pain relief, and improvement of skin problems. We’ll meet in Bogotá at 8 am and then arrive at the property at 9:45 am to have a coffee and you’ll be given a tour of the beautiful grounds. We’ll bring down some tropical fruit to snack on as well as a welcome drink. You'll have around 3-hours to enjoy the hot springs while lunch is being prepared. Lunch is served at 1 pm and our caretaker will cook you an authentic Colombian meal over a wood-burning stove. You can expect vegan ajiaco served with rice and avocado. Please let us know if you have any special dietary restrictions and we can accommodate you! After lunch, we will leave at 2 pm to beat the horrible city traffic and be back in Bogota around 4 pm.

Enjoy Bogotás nightlife with a Pub Crawl in the best party district of Bogotá, Zona Rosa, because the best way to know a place and its culture is by drinking and hanging out with locals. I'll be waiting for you at 9:00pm at the meeting point. At this place you’ll have a craft beer tasting, and then you’ll get to choose your favorite beer to have a full pint of it. If you’re not a beer lover, no worries, I have other drink options for you. After this, we'll visit another great bar in Zona Rosa, having more drinks there. We'll finish the pub crawl at a nightclub and keep the party going local style. You'll visit two of the best bars in Bogotá, enjoying a drink at each one of them and finishing at one of the coolest clubs in town meeting people from all over the world. Our day will start in the bustling downtown area of Bogotá where we will make our way to a lively food hall to try authentic Colombian Ajiaco, one of the most emblematic dishes from here. Then we will shop for fruit and fresh ingredients at the market that we will use to make mojitos later on and do an exotic fruit tasting. Then we'll take polaroid photos in front of vibrant street art in the bohemian La Macarena neighborhood and then visit our favorite bakery for a special passion fruit dessert. From here we will use public transit like a local to arrive to Zona G, the gastronomic zone of the city, for amazing coffee paired with a Colombian buñuelo. Next we will grab some arepas/empanadas to go on our way to the last stop. Finally, we will head to Chapinero where we live! You’ll be welcomed to our apartment terrace for a mojito-making workshop and exotic fruit tasting while watching the sun go down over the city.

Welcome to my Colombian cooking class! During this experience, you will immerse yourself in a typical Colombian food meal in an informal environment, where you will be able to learn all the tips and tricks to make the most delicious buñuelos, arepas, almojábanas, pan de yucas, and much more! You will discover the secrets of my dad (who was a baker) and how we eat these delicious plates in Bogotá. I will welcome you, and you will wear one of the multiple aprons I have been collecting. I will guide you through the whole process of making these delicious, savoury and sweet dishes! Of course, the menu can change depending on dietary restrictions and guests' preferences. We will cook and bake together using fresh, local ingredients, and we will have a cup of hot chocolate or a cup of canelazo (a typical Colombian alcoholic drink). We will cook in my kitchen, and once finished, we will set the table and enjoy the meal altogether. Please bring the best attitude and the best smile because I believe that what is made with happiness tastes better!
